Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM's Twinsburg Ohio Manufacturing Facility is hiring a Quality Supervisor to work alongside the production team on the 3rd shift, fostering an environment that encourages continuous teamwork and works to improve quality technical processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience supervising a team on the manufacturing floor, ensuring the team meets plant and departmental goals and that quality conforms to all regulations, instructions, and standards.

In addition to the responsibilities below, the Quality Supervisor will organize and recommend improvements to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability and submit suggestions to management.

Job Description

  • Accomplishes quality work by orienting, training, assigning, and mentoring production team members.
  • Meets quality work standards by implementing production, efficiency, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
  • Controls product quality inspection actions by enforcing manuals, resources, and web sites.
  • Resolves product quality standard applications by examining and interpreting specifications; correcting vague references.
  • Provides management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing product quality results data and trends.
  • Contributes to quality department and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

Required Skills and Education

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing facility.
  • Willingness and availability to work the 3rd shift, or any shift as needed.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
